Pharm D. or Doctor of Pharmacy is a professional degree in pharmacy stream. Pharm D course duration is six years in total inclusive of 5 years of learning and one year of internship for practical learning.
M. Pharm

Medicinal Plant Garden
The College has well maintained “Charak Medicinal Plant Garden” with approximately 90 endangered and bio diversified medicinal and folklore plants. Students visit and maintain the garden as per the curriculum and enhance their knowledge.

The College has well established animal house approved by CPCSEA, giving all the necessary care & facilities for hygienic housing of laboratory animals like Wistar rats and mice required for preclinical studies.

Admission at Dr. DY Patil College of Pharmacy
If you wanted to get admission for pharmacy course at Dr. DY Patil College of Pharmacy Pune, you have to meet the minimum required criteria for the program that are prescribed by the governing authorities like DTE Govt. of Maharashtra, SSPU Pune and Pharmacy Council of India.
For D. Pharm Course
You should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) or Std. XII Examination of Maharashtra State Board of or its equivalent examination with at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physic, Chemistry, Biology Mathematics and English.
Note: If you are from outside Maharashtra, and you are interested to get admission into Dr. DY Patil College of Pharmacy, you will be only eligible for Institutional Quota seats.
The admission process is governed by the Hon. Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. To participate in admission process you must have registered and should filled the form on Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra State.
For B. Pharm Course
You should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology.
You must have obtained at least 45% marks (i.e. 135 marks / out of 300 marks) if belongs to reserved category, then it should be at least 40% marks (i.e. 120 marks / out of 300 marks) and should have appeared and Obtained Score in MHT- CET.
Note: Non-Maharashtra Candidate should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.
For Direct Second Year B. Pharm (Lateral Entry)
You should have passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
For Pharm. D Course
You should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology.

Note: For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
